CAMP DIRECTOR/MUSIC & MOVEMENT EDUCATOR

 

"I take pride in being able to expose young children to group singing and music. During camp we work on having a positive attitude, team work, self-respect & respect for others all through music! I love helping children open their minds to a new form of creative and physical expression that's fun & exciting!"

 

Some Interesting facts about Iwalani:

• Over 20 years of experience in recreational, enrichment & after-school programs for children (Pre-K & K-5)

• Studied Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on music at Foothill College 

•Orff Training

• Over 10 years of Martial Arts Training with an emphasis on youth instruction

•Current certification in adult/child CPR & First-Aid

CURRENTLY IWALANI IS:

•A full-time Early Childhood Educator and Outdoor Education Specialist in Orange, CA

•Former music teacher at The Berkeley School Early Childhood Campus-Berkeley, CA

•Has a current children's album released called "Rock Elephant"

•Has a second children's album with her acoustic duo "Everyday Party"

• A live musician performing as LaniGrooves
